Preparing garam masala or biriyani powder is very easy.
Nowadays we used to add this powder in all types meat dishes for a flavour.
Here is the simple recipe to prepare it.
For 10 table spoon garam masala
- Cloves: 10
- Cinnamon stick : 5-6
- Green cardamom: 6-8
- Cumin seeds : 2 tablespoon
- Nutmeg :1
- Mace: 2
In a pan roast all ingredients. No need to add oil or deep fry, just need a light roasting.
Then off the flame and allow to cool the ingredients.
In a mixer mix all together into fine powder.
Homemade garam masala ready.
