- Unripe Jackfruit: 20-25 bulbs. (clean the jackfruit and take the bulbs)
- salt : as needed
- Oil : 1/2 litter (for deep fry)
Clean jackfruit and take bulbs. Remove the seeds and cut each bulb as vertical strips.
In a pan pour the oil and heat it. once get heat drop these jackfruit pieces into it. Stir it continuously using a spoon or ladle until it starts to turn crispy.
In glass make salt water using salt and water( half of glass) . Pour 3 tbs of this mixture into the pan. Be careful of doing this, and stir continuously. Then only all part will cook evenly.
Once it turn crispy, remove from oil and keep it aside for cool.
Tasty home made Chakka Varuthath (Fried raw jackfruit) ready.
