- Nellikka(Gooseberry) : 10 nos
- Salt: as needed
- Green chilies: 5 nos( as needed)
- Chopped Ginger and garlic : 1tbs
- Vinegar: 3 or 4 tbs ( You can avoid this, if you dont want)
- water: as needed
Clean the Gooseberry and place in a glass jar. Fill the jar with water until all Gooseberry dipped completely, add 4 to 5 tbs of salt, as needed. Split green chilies into 2 and add into the jar. Add chopped ginger and garlic. As last step add 3 or 4 tbs of vinegar. No need to use vinegar if you prefer to avoid preservatives. Then mix all together and keep for 2 or 3 days.
