- Pappadam : 5
- Rice: 200gm
- Gram flour: 50 gm
- black sesame:a small spoon
- Cumin seeds: a small spoon
- Salt: a small pinch
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 spoon
- Chili powder: 1/2 spoon
Soak the rice in water for minimum 1 hour. Then wash it properly.
In a mixer add rice and 1/4 cup of water, grind it and make a thick paste.
In a bowl add rice paste, gram flour, salt, turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin seeds, and sesame seeds. Mix it well. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
In a pan heat the oil. Take each pappadam, dip into the prepared mixture and deep fry it in oil. No need more time to cook the pappadam.
Fry all the pappadam like this.
