Pudhina Chutney


  • Coconut : 1/2 coconut
  • Mint leaves (Putheena) : 5 to 6 stems
  • Green chilies : 1 to 2 nos (cut into small pieces)
  • salt: 3/4 tbs
  • Vinegar (lemon juice) : 1/2 tbs (optional)
  • Water :1/4 cup water


Grate the coconut.

In a mixer add grated coconut, green chilies , 1/2 tbs salt, 1/2 tbs of vinegar and well grind all together with 1/4 cup of water.Then add add mint leaves and grind until mint mix with other ingredients well.

Simple tasty pudhina chutney ready. A side dish for biriyani, fried rice etc..
