Sweet Potato Chips

Sweet Potato or Madhura kizhangu fries.

Ingredients:

  • Sweet Potato : One medium size
  • salt : as needed
  • Oil : 1/2 litter (for deep fry)
  • water

Preparation:

Peel off Sweet Potato and clean it well. Cut Sweet Potato in thin round shape pieces.  Pour 2 cup water into these pieces and kept this for 20 to 30 minutes. Then wash it properly two or 3 times in water. Then only stain will remove from it.

Add 1/2 tbs of salt into the pieces and mix well.

In a pan pour the oil and heat it. once get heat drop these Sweet Potato pieces into it.

Cook until both sides turns it color to a light brown.

Once it turn crispy, remove from oil and keep it aside for cool.

Sweet sweet potato chips ready to serve.
