- Brinjal : 2 medium sized
- Onions : 1 medium size
- Green chilies: 2 nos
- curry leaves : 1 stem
- Red chilies : 1
- Mustard: 1 tbs
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbs
- Red chili powder : 3/4 tbs
- Salt : 1/2 to 3/4 tbs
Clean the brinjal and cut into pieces.
In a pan add two tbs of oil. once become hot, splutter the mustard seeds. Then add red chili pieces and curry leaves. Stir it well, add chopped onion and green chili pieces.
Saute until onion turns it color slightly. Then add chopped brinjal into it. Add salt 3/4 tbs of Red chili powder and turmeric powder. Stir it well and cook for 5 minutes.
Once it is cooked well off the flame.
simple and delicious vazhuthana thoran ready to serve.
