Vettucake is a snack preparing with maida.


  • All-purpose flour (maida) – 1 cup
  • Egg : 1
  • Sugar : 1/4 cup (based on your sugar level)
  • Baking soda – 2 pinch
  • Cardamom powder : 2 pinch
  • salt : 1 pinch
  • Oil : for deep fry


Mix 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 pinch salt and 2 pinch of baking soda , stir well.

Mix egg and sugar well. Add 2 pinch of cardamom powder into this.

Pour this mixture into the maida mixture and mix well using hand.

Make a smooth and soft dough, like chapati dough.

Keep it aside for 10 minutes.

After that divide the dough into 2 section.

Make a long and thick rectangular shape with each dough part. Use all-purpose  flour to make non sticky rectangular shapes.

Then cut the rectangular shaped dough into small pieces.

In a pan heat oil.

Fry cake pieces in oil until golden brown.


Tasty vettucake ready to serve.
