Netholi, nethal, kozhuva or Anchovy fry is a tasty and simple recipe.
- Netholi : 30 to 35 numbers
- Turmeric powder: 3/4 tbs
- Red chili powder: 1 tbs
- Salt: as required( 1/4 tbs)
- cornflour : 1/2 tbs
- Oil: for deep fry
- Curry leaves
Clean the fish well.
In a bowl add the fishes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cornflour and salt. Mix it well using hand. Keep aside minimum of 20 minutes.
In a pan heat the oil deep fry the fish pieces. Add some curry leaves into the pan at last stage of frying. Fry the leaves and remove from the pan.
Serve the fish along with rice, chapati etc….
