- Wheat flour/atta – 500gm
- Oil – 3tbsp
- Water – 1/4 cup
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
- Atta flour – for rolling the chapathi
Oil or ghee – for cooking
In a bowl add the flour/atta oil & salt.Mix it well using water (sprinkle water in small quantity).
Otherwise Boil water in a vessel and add salt in it. Once it is boiled add atta flour and mix it. Then off the flame and keep it aside. Make soft dough once it is cooled. This process will make chapati more soft.
Make a soft,non-sticky dough. Keep it aside for minimum 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes make lemon sized balls using dough.
Take one ball, roll out the ball into a uniform thin circle using atta flour.
Heat a non-stick pan & put the chapathi. Cook both sides using a ladle. you can use ghee or oil for cooking (use a brush for spread the oil on chapathi).
Soft and tasty chapathi ready.
