- Moong dal(cherupayar) -100 gm
- Onion – 1 medium
- Green chili -3 finely chopped
- Turmeric powder -1 tsp
- Chili powder – 1/2 tbsp
- Salt : needed
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds -1 tsp
- Curry leaves- few
In a pan add two tbs of oil. once become hot, splutter the mustard seeds. Then add red chili pieces and curry leaves. Stir it well, add chopped onion and green chili pieces.
Saute until onion turns it color slightly. Then add cooked Moong dal into pan. Add salt red chili powder, and turmeric powder. Stir it well and cook for 5 minutes.
