- Beetroot: 2 medium sized
- Milk: 2 cup( medium size cup)
- Cashews : 5 nos
- Sugar : 8 to 10 tbs
- Cardamom powder : 1 to 2 pinch
- Ghee : as needed
Peel off beetroots and grate into small pieces.
In a pan add 2 tbs of ghee, pour milk and grated beetroot into it and cook it. Cook in low flame then only beetroot combine with milk properly and leave its row taste completely.It takes up to 30 minutes to cook this mixture. stir it continuously while this 30 minutes. Then add 8 to 10 tbs of sugar and cardamom powder. Pour 1 tbs of ghee in regular interval and stir continuously until halwa start remove from the sides of pan. Then off the flame and add cashews.
Simple beetroot halwa ready to serve.
